Muffin Makers are recruiting new bakers!  We are currently 11/12 (H) in Icecrown Citadel, and need to fill out our ranks and class balance to really regroup and take a good shot at finishing off Heroic Lich King and prepare for any... Cataclysmic events that may lie in wait.  If you think you've got what it takes, head on over to our application page and enlist today!

Muffins want YOU.

Shadowmourne hungers.

"Shadowmourne would be hewn from piles of impure Saronite: the hardened blood of the Old God, Yogg-Saron. To fuel its power to kill, it should be drenched in the souls of the most potent servants of the Scourge as they are slain, one by one, with the unfinished blade. To help break through the Lich King's armor, it is to be adorned with fragments of the Frozen Throne, originally crafted by Kil'Jaeden out of ice from the Twisting Nether."

After months of proper care and feeding of this unfinished blade, our very own Rasha rose to the challenge, completed all tasks laid before him, and claimed this legendary blade as his own.  Having retained composure throughout his trials in Northrend, lich-slapping any man or beast foolish enough to stand in his path, and even maintaining sanity while facing the gaping maws of Yogg-Saron, there remained no doubt in our hearts that his soul could withstand the might of this awesome power.

As the evening grew dark, twenty-five tired bakers topped Ice-Cream Citadel with the sprinkles of victory.  At last the Lich King was defeated, but we'll be back to battle his true form...

After making our way through the remaining wings of Icecrown Citadel (and even offering her a brief reprieve for Valentine's day), the Muffins returned once again to the lair of Sindragosa in an attempt to win her favor and appeal to her sense of romance.  Sadly, she again broke the hearts of the entire raid and so we had no choice but to kill her.  The login screen just won't be the same without her. You're next, Arthas!

Good news everyone!  The mighty Muffin Makers delivered a dose of delicious death to the dear doctor of the ICC plague wing.  You will notice that Krig was having a bad fur day and couldn't stand having his picture taken.  Despite his best attempts we got him in the shot anyway!

It was a Muffin Makers last attempt to end all last attempts.  For awhile, it looked as though we might break our tradition and have a flawless kill with no hiccups or deaths.  Thankfully, the shit found its way to the proverbial fan at the last moment, as fate knew there was simply no way the Muffins would be happy with a kill screenshot showing a majority of our raiders still alive.  Some quick thinking and our trademarked Muffin Zerg Brute Force turned what was potentially yet another sub-1% heartbreaker into a collective outcry of joyous victory.  Well done, everyone.  Arthas awaits!

It was late and the muffins were tired, but the big bad bug had to be stomped!  After a series of heart breaking < 1% wipes we banded together for one final push and nailed the Nerubian king to the floor.  Now I personally can’t help but feel bad for him.  All the other Warcraft III villains had some grand plans, epic encounters, etc.  This poor guy got locked in the basement, twice…

Again, in perfect Muffin form, mere minutes before the trash respawned and we called it quits for the week, we had a breakthrough attempt where everything came together perfectly and both Vezax and his little friend the Saronite Animus went down faster than the mercury level in a thermometer put into a freezer.  (Weren't expecting THAT metaphor, now were you?)  Rather than leaving the week unfinished as we had nearly resigned ourselves to, we went on to finish off Yogg and ported back to Dalaran with the satisfied accomplishment of two hard mode kills in one night.

After many nights of banging our heads against an iron wall, the Muffin Makers waltzed in to the Assembly of Iron and almost immediately overcame our mental block.  Steelbreaker finally met his end and now sleeps soundly inside our pokémuffins, ready to be unleashed upon some other unsuspecting enemy at our whims.  We promised we'd kill you last... and we did.

Yeah so.  I guess we should make a post here about them but honestly I think we had more trouble with Emalon.  Almost one-shotting new bosses when you don't really know anything about them is just sad.  We'll see you in heroic mode, guys.
